Our Favorite BBQ Rib Recipe
We love it when summer rolls around and we get to fire up the grill and cook some ribs for friends and family! This is one of our go-to favorites for falling-off-the-bone goodness!
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. You will cook the ribs low-and-slow, so when you put them in the oven, turn it down to 200 degrees.
- 5 pounds of ribs
- One liter bottle of Root Beer (yes, you read that right!)
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Spread the ribs in an oven proof dish, pour the root beer over the top, sprinkle the brown sugar and salt and pepper. Once this is done, make sure the oven is turned down, put the pan in and cook for two and a half to three hours. Once they’re getting tender and the soda has cooked down you will remove them from the oven and finish them off on the grill!
Sweet, crispy delicious ribs. Great for any family gathering!
Pair them with a potato or macaroni salad, fruits, veggies and dip, or potato chips and dip. Stay tuned for our favorite macaroni salad recipe in next month’s newsletter!
