- Are your calls returned? Make sure there are open lines of communication and that you feel you’re being heard and your vision understood.

- Ask for references. Your pool contractor should be happy to supply you with names and contact information for former clients. Make sure you get in touch with them.
- Pricing. Get more than one estimate so you can compare pricing and project scope before you make a decision.
