Pool Repair & Equipment Upgrades

Diagnosis, written quotes, and licensed repairs on the systems that keep your pool running.

SwimRight Pools repairs and replaces the equipment that circulates, filters, heats, and lights residential pools in Scottsdale, from a single failed part to a full equipment pad upgrade. When something stops working, you get a clear answer on what failed, what it costs to fix, and whether replacing it makes more sense.

Call us if the pump hums but never starts, if it screeches or grinds while it runs, if water is pooling on the equipment pad, if the filter pressure stays high right after a cleaning, if the heater will not fire or shuts itself off, if a pool light has gone dark, if your automation panel is showing errors or the app has stopped responding, or if the breaker trips every time the pump kicks on.

Repair work is backed by our partnership with Nevergreen Pools, Inc. and performed under Arizona ROC 365989, with the same crews and documentation standards Nevergreen uses across its service areas. To book a diagnostic visit, fill out the form on this page and we will call you back, usually the same day.

How a Repair Visit Works

The technician looks at the whole system before touching a single part. A pump that will not prime might be a pump problem, or it might be a cracked lid, a closed valve, or an air leak upstream. Checking flow, pressure, electrical supply, and controls together keeps you from paying to replace something that was never the cause.

Once the problem is found, you get a written quote before work begins. When a repair is the better value, we repair it. When the equipment is near the end of its life, inefficient, or no longer supported with parts, we explain the replacement option and what it will save you in operating cost so the decision is yours. The same team that does the repair checks the result on follow-up, and if you are on weekly service, your technician keeps an eye on it from then on.

Most common repairs, such as a pump seal, a motor capacitor, a filter grid, or a failed light, are handled on the first or second visit once parts are confirmed. Larger jobs like a full equipment pad replacement or a new heater are scheduled as a single project, with the old equipment hauled away and the new system started, tested, and walked through with you before the crew leaves. You are never left guessing which part of the job is finished.

Arizona conditions are hard on pool equipment. Pumps run long hours through the summer months, and motors run hotter in high ambient temperatures. Hard water leaves scale inside heater exchangers and on salt cells, which cuts efficiency and shortens their life. Equipment that sits in direct sun also sees faster wear on lids, unions, and wiring. Monsoon season brings power surges and outages that can damage control boards and automation systems.

What a Proper Fix Saves You

When equipment is repaired correctly and sized for your pool, the water circulates the way it should, the filter catches what it is supposed to, and you are not paying for a motor that runs harder than it needs to. A variable speed pump alone can lower the electric bill noticeably over a full Arizona summer, and modern automation lets you control heat, lights, and run times from your phone.

Upgrades are worth considering even when nothing is broken. Older single speed pumps, outdated controllers, and incandescent pool lights all cost more to run than current equipment. If you are planning ahead, ask the technician to review your equipment pad and give you a written list of what is aging, what can wait, and what would pay back fastest.

Waiting usually costs more. A pump leaking at the seal will eventually take out the motor bearings. A heater running with scale on the exchanger burns more gas to do less work. A filter with a torn grid or cracked cartridge sends debris back into the pool and into the plumbing. Small failures left alone in the heat tend to turn into full replacements.

If something on your equipment pad is not working right, request a diagnostic visit through the form and we will find the cause first.
